Bio
I have assisted thousands of high school students in successfully undertaking the daunting college application process since 1986, when I began as a University of California trained Peer Academic Counselor in high school. As a first-year student at the University of California, Berkeley, I volunteered with the Undergraduate Office of Admissions. My interest and enthusiasm for providing expert admissions guidance and advice grew.
As an undergraduate, several years of working with the Cal Student Orientation (CalSO) program followed, and I then pursued a 30-year professional career in college advising and pipeline equity. I have also completed my Student Affairs & Higher Education Administration certificate from the University of California, Berkeley Extension program. I completed my Master’s in Organization & Leadership from the University of San Francisco in 2020.
My commitment to helping students reach their university goals remains more vital than ever for me after more than 30 years of providing university advice and guidance.
